 Aeris ATMOS LX Hybrid BC
What is it? A rear-inflation weight-integrated buoyancy compensator (BC) with a wrap-around design of the air cell. The BC is built to provide more lift than most BCs and an improved upright orientation when the BC is inflated and the diver is at the surface. The Atmos LX offers multiple adjustment and attachment points, allowing divers to customize the BC to their needs. The ATMOS LX is weight-integrated with a combination of dumpable (20 pounds) and nondumpable (10 pounds) weight pockets.
Benefits to your diving: Rear-inflation BCs are designed to provide more room to move up front and the Aeris ATMOS LX does not disappoint. The additional lift and improved orientation at the surface from the wrap-around air cell is good news for any diver.  SeaLife's DC800
What is it? An underwater camera with new SeaLife-exclusive modes. The Sea mode has three color-correction settings (Oceans Blue, Oceans Green, Rivers/Lakes) for photography in a variety of water environments. When using the SeaLife Digital Pro Flash accessory, the DC800's External Flash Auto mode allows for automatic exposure settings set by the camera, while External Flash Manual mode allows manual adjustments in aperture and shutter speed exposure controls. SPY mode allows the camera to take continuous pictures at set time intervals so divers can capture hard-to-photograph subjects. Users select the desired time interval, from 5 seconds to 5 minutes, and push the shutter button. The camera will automatically take pictures until the memory card is full, the user pushes the shutter button again or the camera runs out of power.
Benefits to your diving: Cameras equipped with tools like the new underwater modes offered in the DC800 provide more tools for photographers to apply their creativity and control their work, giving them a better chance to capture the kind of images they want. For more information about the DC800 or to reach the nearest SeaLife dealer, call (800) 257-7742.

 Stahlsac's Jamaican Smuggler Dive Bag
What is it? The manufacturer's latest addition to its lineup of wheeled dive luggage. The Jamaican Smuggler is designed to accommodate one set of dive gear, accessories and personal items, while keeping the packed travel weight under 50 pounds, the weight limit for bags enforced by most airlines. The main compartment will accommodate "XL" fins and the additional storage pocket is handy for smaller items. A molded bottom, heavy-duty wheels and stabilizers help support the bag when it is upright.
Benefits to your diving: Ensuring your dive bag weighs no more than 50 pounds for a flight is no small task for divers. Stahlsac's Jamaican Smuggler takes some of the guesswork out of that challenge by designing a bag that accommodates a diver's needs while keeping the bag's weight where it needs to be. For more information about the Jamaican Smuggler or to contact the nearest Stahlsac dealer, call (800) 521-2247.

 NiteRider's HID II Dive Lights
What is it? A new series of high-density discharge (HID) dive and video lights using a new 14-watt HID lamp, which is billed as "twice as bright and twice as strong" as the company's previous 10-watt HID.
Benefits to your diving: Brighter lights with longer burn times help divers see more of the underwater environment and when snapping photos or shooting video helps them capture bigger and more colorful images of their surroundings. Even better, NiteRider says owners of the HID 10-watt light can upgrade to the new 14-watt HID lamp and new digital ballast for an upgrade fee. For more information about the 14-watt HID lamp, or to reach the nearest NiteRider dealer, call (858) 268-3850.

 UWATEC's Galileo Sol
What is it? A dive computer for the wrist with a heart rate monitor for precise decompression calculations, and a navigational system that includes a full-tilt, digital compass with bearing memory. The Galileo Sol also has a large dot matrix display screen with three display options and several personalization features. The dive computer comes with a user-replaceable battery.
Benefits to your diving: Diving has grown progressively safer thanks to advances in technology. A dive computer that monitors divers' heart rates is another step in that direction. The Galileo will also win over divers who like a dive computer with easy-to-read large numbers and the option of three displays.
